Jinan Grade A Bonito Flakes are premium quality katsuobushi — dried, smoked skipjack tuna shaved into the characteristic paper-thin flakes that are fundamental to Japanese cooking. The Grade A designation reflects a consistent, high-quality product with strong aroma, rich colour and excellent flavour intensity.Simmer in hot water for 3–5 minutes to produce katsuobushi dashi — the clean, golden stock that is the foundation of miso soup, udon and ramen broths.
